Burger King Kids Merchandising
I oversaw the BK Kid's creative while at Wunderman Chicago. My team was responsible for all design, copy needs, photoshoot direction, and merchandising. During this time, Burger King's promotional calendar rotated approximately 12-16 properties yearly. Each with its own set of 8-12 unique toys.Collectible cups, bags, and a unique meal box for Happy Feet 2 were all part of the BK Kid's Meal arsenal.
Burger King had been serving Apple Fries in plastic bags until we created the new apple fries box and redesigned BK's branded fat-free and chocolate milk to follow suit.
The Design The Crown promotion invited children to create a crown for a chance to be featured nationwide on a BK CROWN meal packaging and win a family trip to a LEGOLAND® Park. The contest asked children between the ages of 6-12 to unleash their creative side and design their personalized crowns.
